I create because...

I was born to.

Ideas don't arrive when I need them.

They arrive when they want to, and they can live in my head for years -

sometimes decades before they become reality.

Some moments refuse to let me go until I've found a way to bring them to life.

I don't wait until I know something will work. I have an idea - I experiment, and I learn the hard way.

I'm always asking, "What if...?"

What if I do this?

Use this?

Make this?

Combine these?

I get ideas from everywhere, but nature will always feed my heart and soul.

I've never had art lessons. Everything I know has come from trying, failing, learning

and trying again.

I've worked with so many different creative mediums that I've lost count.

I keep coming back to glass, resin, natural elements.........and light.

Every piece I have created has taught me something.

I don't make prints, copies or duplicates because once an idea becomes reality, it now physically exists.

For me and the people that purchase my art - that is enough - they never need to be repeated.

There is always another idea and vision waiting to become real.

I create because.....I was born to create.

Every piece is one of a kind.
